Ghani Biriyani Restaurant was established in the year 1951 in the city of Penang, Malaysia by Late MM Dawood Ghani. It soon became one of the famous and favourite dine-in-sports among Malaysians. One of our milestones was the outdoor catering to a political event organised for the then Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in the year 1954.
Taste of Malaysia in the Delta
GBR was launched in Thanjavur in 2022 as Fine-Dining Multi Cuisine Restaurant with a cozy ambience and friendly vibe. With roots in Malaysia, we have introduced the Malay Cuisine to Thanjavur for the first time and are overwhelmed by people response. We had great success in introducing signature dishes of various cuisines like Mandi (Arabian) & so on.
